Some motivation please
I do apologize for slacking off on my posts, however, it has rained 5 of the past 7 days since my last post. I'm sure most of you know what this can do to a person. It makes me want to quit my job and move to another State. Not to mention my 29th birthday is in a couple days, not that that matters, since I already came to that realization back in March when I signed up for the first race of the year with a 29 race age. I'm almost a vet (or master, whatever's next)
It's just wierd that I'm almost 30, my little sister will be 27 and she's already married with 2 children.
I know I could throw on a rain jacket and go ride anyways, (except for a few days when funnel clouds were spotted), but I don't. I get in these slumps where I get tired of the road bike and would rather ride my mountain bike, but right now with all of the rain, most of the trails are closed or would be muddy. (which I am sick of also) So on the sunny days, I hit the road and do my best with my schedule to get in the most time possible and on rainy days it's the trainer or get stuff done that I don't usually because I'm riding my bike.
I don't mean to whine, but the rain really needs to stop. (okay Bridget, I know you're going to hit me with this one, I'm ready!)

I'm thinking the same exact thing.

Amanda, I am researching the Sproat name so I get info everyday by using Google. Thats how I ran across your name. Maybe if it is still raining you can email me about any genealogy of the Sproat name such as where you are from, parents names, etc. Did you know a Sproat was one of the famous 48, from Marietta, who settled the Ohio territory. The famous Ohio State Buckeyes name originated from Ebenezer Sproat. Possibly you are a relative?
I know this is strange, but I would appreciate a response.
Thanks,
Stephen Wood, Roseburg, OR.
